Week 4 at A2OCA

Our Kindergarten students are enjoying exploring Science-related topics through their weekly enrichment readings, as well as through engaging activities. They, also, have the opportunity to expand their appreciation for beautiful art and music through our viewing/listening and discussing various artistic pieces related to the week’s read-aloud book theme. In mathematics, our Kindergarten students are learning to count from 0 to 20, as well as learning to skip count from 0 to 20 (Mathematics). For Language, our Kindergarten students are learning to recognize and name each letter of the alphabet, as well as the sound each makes. They are, also, learning how to spell and read their first two words (“I am”) and learning how to write their first name.

In our Preschool class, led by parent volunteers, students are enjoying learning through an expertly curated collection of read-aloud books through which students engage in teacher-led discussions and related activities, games, and crafts to help support their learning of the alphabet, their counting from 1 to 10, and their gross and fine motor skills development.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our Mission! Glory to God for All Things!
